Almost visible through the fog I love. An affinity with corvids. A devotee of the hypnogogic state.
Impossible to prove a causal connection between the grave and its desecration though, eh?

Nothing to boast about if true. But also a factually absurd claim surely. Leaving aside, idk, Italy/San Marino, Benelux, Denmark/Greenland Australia/NZ & so on... UK itself on almost every level (geographical, socio-economic, linguistic, cultural &c) far closer to Eire than US. Ditto US to Canada.

Going by population size, not convincing. According to Wikipedia's list of 'primary urban areas', Newcastle is 16th. 'Teeside' (admittedly problematic) makes the top seven, Bristol is 8th. Bournemouth, Nottingham, Stoke, Leicester, Coventry, Bradford all above Newcastle

Many congratulations! I really like the notion of knowing less than nothing, it's so much better than knowing nothing in implying a indeterminate tract of negative knowledge - things more or less familiar that we still have to learn about. Negative knowledge fuels endless curiosity.

I am beginning to suspect this or (I fear perhaps more likely) a deposition from within his inner circle will happen within weeks if not days.

Tbf now presumably the 'No Longer Purely of Peace Board' aka the 'Peaceful unless Tantrum is Necessary' (PUTIN) Board. Feeble jokes apart, if America doesn't manage to have him driven off in an ambulance within weeks, Orwell's three megastate prophecy will be almost wholly fulfilled.

Sweetie pie, from where I'm sitting across the pond all your horrendous regime projects is a fetid mix of arrogance, hubris, stupidity and decay - rottenness, senility and disintegration on the verge of total & long-awaited collapse. Have you read 'King Lear' lately, doll!?

'It was during his regular morning commute from Warrington 1 to Warrington 3 (via Warrington 2 and Manchester's two airports) that Gerald had his epiphany. "Yes, my life's literally going nowhere," he told himself. "But at least it's taking the picturesque route."'

Or, an adjacent species - words that are not so much misused to mean their opposite now, but rather whose *accepted*/ dominant use has travelled 180 degrees over time? I'm thinking e.g., 'egregious', 'awful'. I feel sure there should be a term for this, but googling hasn't helped.

He says the country is wonderful so perhaps using 'sick' in an - albeit dated - demotic sense as a reinforcer!? More plausibly, in line with so much Trumpist rhetoric, it's classic projection: 'I [NZ] unconsciously know I'm morally sick (with greed, naked ambition &c). Now where can I pin this?'

I don't seek to defend KS but he DOESN'T *explicitly* back Trump's action although doesn't criticise it either. There lies the rub. A missing middle sentence is left for the hearer or reader to imagine. One version might start 'However,' another 'Indeed,' for instance. Equivocation's the gig here.
