We’re not willingly putting up with this shit. It is being rammed down our throats by a POS do-nothing Congress. I’ve yet to hear the outrage from even the Dems yet. No hope for the Repubs. The damage these MFers will continue to do for another year is incalculable. IF we win back the House.

Call me cynical, but I think Schumer did lead his caucus in the direction he wanted. He asked who would fall on the sword and got 6 Senators not up in 2026, one who is retiring, and one a Dem in name only. Easy peasy, saved his own face.

After all the grief this shutdown has caused millions of people, for the Dems to cave on an extension of ACA subsidies for one year would be unforgivable and a slap in the face to their base. Don’t f’ing cave at this point when so many supported you by voting just six days ago!
