Doomscrolling is directly related to the inability of being bored. The more you can withstand being bored, the easier it is to not doomscroll.
Instead of finding an activity, you should use these times to do literally nothing. Then, slowly increase the amount of time - like exercising :)

After seeing many creators quit fe2 for social and emotional issues. it's rlly not worth making maps. People have lost their passion by having ppls opinions dictate their self worth. I don't blame them. It's truly sad that it seems the premise of being a map creator is now framed in popularity.
