Yes, that's despicable. But I was just making the point that "best/worst" are subjective, coming down in the end to personal opinion. I agree Starmer is worse than useless, but at least he's never pretended to be anything other than what he is, unlike Blair. I'll never forgive the latter for that.

It's a genuine question—I don't know how your system works, but if their donors' (presumably corporate?) interests are more important than their constituents', the system needs to be blown up.

As a British teacher of German and avid teutophile, I had never believed that day would come, at least in my lifetime. I desperately wished I could be there, but was living in Sydney with my husband and young sons, so I could only watch the TV news with tears running down my face. #Germany

I'm so sorry for you. My daughter has complex healthcare needs, so we're very lucky we don't live in America. I hope your relatives will be okay somehow!
