Not really the target demographic but reading teen queer fiction makes me both happy and sad. Happy because queer teens get to know they're not alone, but sad that I didn't have that growing up. Can't help but wonder how my life might have been very different if I had

Finished Talamasca: The Secret Order. I enjoyed this a lot more than the Mayfair Witches but not as much as Interview with the Vampire. Hope it gets renewed for a second season

Rather late to the party but I'm really enjoying the various AMC series that make up Anne Rice's Immortal Universe. I've finished Interview with the Vampire and am now working my way through the Mayfair Witches before I watch Talamasca: The Secret Order

Went to see Bad Lads at the Unity Theatre this evening, part of this years Homotopia festival. I can't say I enjoyed the performance - I found it challenging and unsettling. I am glad I went to witness it though.

I came out over 30 years ago and a lot has changed since then - lifting the ban to serve in the armed forces, equal age of consent, end of section 28, gender recognition, and marriage equality
