33 years ago today I lost my dad to cancer at the young age of 58. I was only 26 and have missed his wisdom as I’ve struggled into adulthood, survived cancer myself at 56 and turn 60 this year. My only solace is that as a veteran he’s not witnessing the current destruction of our country.

Celebrating the great news today that my PSA has stabilized, for now, and that I won’t need salvage radiation for my prostrate cancer! I will live to see another day and fight for freedom animal rights and lgbtq equality! Look out conservatives, I’m still here!
