I find myself consistently recommending Pontypool, Cloud Atlas, and Easy Rider.

To date, the most "horror"-like games I've ever played are BioShock and Limbo. It's not a lack of wanting the horror. It's the lack of funds to purchase many controllers. So no, I don't get to play horror games.

Anyway, at this juncture I was so scared that I jerked and threw the controller across the room, breaking it.

I have done that several more times with some different games.

. You should know that I have what I now know is an exaggerated startle response, which is a very intense reaction to relatively minor triggers. And it's worth saying that I have this startle reflex because I have PTSD. It's a super common symptom.
