My sister texted me back on Wednesday and was like I have a medical test on Friday so I can't go. But then texted me and our sister on THURSDAY that she was out of her test.

If i had known I would have gone by myself on Thursday. But the real kick in the ass was when "I didn't get Saturday covered" then called off for her shift which would have given us time to have gone to the show and back. I'm so angry I looped back around to vague upset.

And then told me she still had to work Friday but she could take half a day. Which would have put us right against the wire to her to the show with no traffic. So combined with having a prior obligation on Saturday and the trouble I had getting the day off, I ended up not going.

Update to this. I told a friend that I was just going alone because no one wanted to go with me. So she said we'll if no one is going with you I will. We got to Thursday when we were supposed to leave and she says "oh I never got Saturday covered for work."

Now I'm just deeply sad. Like I don't want to keep asking if you don't want to go. So at this point it's go by myself and hope I don't get lost in Louisville or just let the tickets go to waste.

Asked my sister if she wanted the tickets. She said her husband had to work. So I asked again "if I can get the day off work do you want to go with me?" That was four days ago. For fuck's sake at least have the damned decency to fucking SAY NO.
