He definitely knew his team would win the Superbowl. That’s why the NFCCG loss haunts him. His team was an outstanding team and he knew it the whole season long. I don’t imagine he saw the Hawks as a threat until the very last.

Also, Griff…keep doing this good stuff. It matters more than we see. Thank you for talking about it, too.

Related: my daughter performed A Christmas Carol this past December in local shelters and transitional housing. The company believes that everyone needs art and community; they take live performance to our neighbors who cannot access. The audiences were the most responsive imaginable.

Electric mattress pad, my friend. Noticeably superior to an electric blanket. Preheat the bed before you turn in for the night. Insulating blankets - or better, a duvet - will keep the warmth in and form a nice cocoon. I like a down duvet, but see the value in down alternative, too.

The coverage drew attention to a variety of legal arguments and political/economic pressure. Each example was framed differently. If protesters insist they don’t want this kind of immigration enforcement/detention for whatever reason, isn’t that a change in the prevailing narrative?

It’s as clear as it can be that he utterly loathes women. So perhaps it’s not surprising that he fetishizes men.

I have imagined this must be true without first hand knowledge for quite some time, MU. I can’t say that I do really understand, though.

I’m hoping the Hawks offer him a pay increase to level the $ playing field. The lowest paid HC’s ($2-5m/yr) overlap with the highest paid OC’s ($3-6m/yr). Kubiak has a lot of leverage with LV if Rap is correct, though, and can push for long term guaranteed money to lower his risk.

Mr.President - thank you for your visibility here. Do you think voicing outrage and studying implications - even broadly - is enough to stop this Administration from attacking us? Are there further steps you endorse?

If you can manage, try to intentionally down regulate your nervous system: showers, hydration, deep breathing, stretching, music, low lighting - whatever works for you.

As impossible as it is to believe, this, too, shall pass.

So incredibly sorry.

“The times have found [you]…”

Thomas Paine:

“Tyranny, like hell, is not easily conquered; yet we have this consolation within us, that the
harder the conflict, the more glorious the triumph. What we obtain too cheap, we value too lightly…”

Another way of saying this is women who don’t code switch - who don’t couch their behavior in a submissive posture for fear of triggering the male ego. Or don’t hide their light under a bushel for fear of triggering male feelings of inadequacy. Or those who refuse to “bat their eyelashes.”

These are faces of women who have been told at home, at work, or in public, “You should smile more - you would be prettier.” Faces of women who have been bullied for their “Jezebel” spirits by men who feel entitled to judge their behavior simply by virtue of proximity.

The list of preliminary candidates for each team is at least one dozen candidates long. And the first round of interviews is very superficial.
Unless or until KK makes a finalist round of interviews, it’s too soon to say.

His QB whispering career goes traces its beginnings to the grandfather of all QB whisperers - Bill Walsh - and includes Heisman Trophy winners as well. An impressive career, by any measure.

Note to self: power and money, contrary to common belief, offer neither happiness nor simple contentment to the possessor.

So hoping that the challenges you refer to haven’t limited your ability to savor this season, and that 2026 will see a lightening of your workload. In the meantime, sending you best wishes for the new year and many thanks for your past contributions to our Seahawks community!

Women are still hugely underrepresented in C Suite leadership positions and in the last two years have begun to lose ground they gained.

A woman candidate will be polarizing *by definition*. Among other things, we have a fiercely political White Evangelical constituency that believes men are divinely annointed to lead and women to follow. This is baked-in ideology.

Does he think he’s a smart guy? Figured out a “market trend” and “leveraged” his money to “make bank”? Looks down on those who don’t have what he has?

Needs a visit from the Three Spirits.

Seattle side has its charms…just saying. Merry Christmas to you and yours, MU

The huge variance you describe is a classic developmental pattern that you see when an athlete/group of athletes move from one level of performance to a higher level. Good things ahead…
