Either all of us are human, or none of us are.
When we dehumanize others, we invite injustice.
The rule of law only works if it treats every in-group with dignity.
Now is the time to stand up—again—for each other.

We’re seeing nonprofits and faith groups rewrite their values to stay “safe.” Words like equity, justice, and inclusion are disappearing.

But values that disappear under pressure weren’t values. They were vanity.

Real values cost something. And they’re worth it.

Since ancient times, people have built trust by sharing meals. And whether it was with close friends or strangers, meals have always been a way to bridge divides and create bonds.

But the trend of isolation and division won’t fix itself - it's up to us.

We had a great time in San Antonio with The Potluck Project - 100 people participated from many traditions and cultures. Now we are getting ready for our national tour: Reach out if you want us to come to your community!

We are announcing the Potluck Project: Neighbors Connecting. This toolkit offers churches, mosques, temples, community organizations tools to gather people. When people of many traditions and cultures gather over food and conversation we all feel better.
