Will this finally succeed? Efforts have been underway for years. The current system is awful because it focuses too little on what schools actually impact (academic growth). Hopefully the new system will include private schools that take vouchers! #nced #ncpublicschools

Public dollars should come with public accountability. Safety is a big deal! Currently, only ONE staff member at a private school has to pass a criminal background check. That's just wrong. Make schools that get vouchers follow the same safety guidelines as public schools!
