My friend and author, Michael Sabbeth, recently passed away. His book, The Good, The Bad and The Difference: How to Talk with Children About Values is a very well-written work to teach ethics and morality to our youth. He hoped to make a difference in this world while here and I believe he did.

You should use a caveat on your copyright page stating your work is not to be used for training AI like "NO AI TRAINING PERMITTED" or "No portion of this work may be used for training artificial intelligence without written permission from the author."

On Oct 6th & 7th at the 2025 Mountains and Plains Independent Booksellers Assn FallCon the CIPA Author Showcase featured CIPA member authors like Dr. Kevin Fitzgerald who signed copies of his book, It Started With a Turtle, for the many bookseller and librarian attendees.

On September 18th, the 31st annual CIPA EVVY Book Awards Ceremony and Banquet was held at the Hotel Boulderado in Boulder, Colorado where Gold, Silver and Bronze blue ribboned CIPA EVVY Book Award medals and lapel pins were presented. Dr. Kevin Fitzgerald was the keynote speaker.

The CIPA Education and Literacy Foundation and the Collective of Independent Publishers and Authors (CIPA), had a strong presence at the MPIBA FallCon Oct 6-7 in Denver to showcase over 50 titles published by CIPA members and 12 CIPA authors were scheduled for book signings at the show.
