Glad it’s not too bad. My daughter is doing a study abroad year at QUT. It’s funny, when she chose Brisbane we talked about cyclones in Queensland. And I was like- nah, you’ll be fine. You only get those in far North Queensland. She has been riding out the storm safely in Southbank with others.

While my travels remind me that diseases should never be named after real places, I would be remiss if I did not also acknowledge the privilege of travel. And that those diseases have brought undue hardship to so many. #Privilege #GlobalHealth #DiseaseNaming
