Peope are talking about the moronic math. But I am far more reminded of Winston talking about chocolate rations in 1984. Prices are not going down, and his supporters will never remember the promised decrease.

Lee Child uses the word “slewed” an unusual number of times in his books. And Lee Child has no understanding that some idioms are not used across the pond. One character that never left Tennessee (i think) said that her dad “would have kittens” if he found out.

Pilots and copilots are never given the same meal, in case one of them get sick (like in Airplane!). Maybe we should make sure the pilots and copilots don’t belong to the same religion in case one of them is raptured
