Amen! Look how @gavinnewsom.bsky.social shocked the world by being unafraid to take the gloves off with Trump. And he won a lot of skeptics over. His ballot measure to gerrymander for Democrats won by almost 2:1!
As someone remarked, most Democrats *exude* fear. Not Newsom. And not you! Hooray!

What is this "settled law" of which you speak?

Trump may have the trappings of wealth and power, but he has the ethics of a street thug.
Is this fundamentally different from a Mafia loan shark breaking arms to compel payment?

Been saying for years: Democrats had better learn to be better culture warriors, because that's what matters to the voters they need to win over.

In the Citizens United era, Dems rely so much on big-money donors that they dare not go too hard on the wealthy and powerful.
Even In a Populist Moment, Democrats Are Split on the Problem of Corporate Power
Democratic voters have turned against big business, but only the progressive faction of the party has listened. This distance between voters and leaders is unusual and can't go on forever. Or can it?

Can we talk about age limits for our leaders?
Keep in mind that when the Constitution was written, the average life expectancy at birth was ~36 years, and hardly anybody lived past their 70's.
I'd suggest that a reasonable upper limit would be 75, at the *end* of your term in office.

Because everyone locks up their car for 50 years and then gets mad if it won't start, amirite?
One of the stupidest comments I've seen.

Ascorbic acid (Vitamin C) is a good pre-soak.

I switched to Calibri from Times years ago. It has a bit more flair IMO without being in any way weird. But *diversity*? What???
How pathetic that THIS is what our Li'l Secretary of State chooses to focus on!
