Lucille stole my heart. She was a rescue pug. Tiny, 12 lbs, had been used as a breeder, and discarded when she couldn't have puppies anymore. We got her when she was 8, she lived to be 16. At the time we had 2 other pugs, surprisingly she outlived them. My friend said she didn't want to leave me. 🌺

Now Sophie's grown up, and we rescued a cute little gremlin we named Stella.

And then there was Sophie. We got her to keep Rosie company, she was despondent when her brother died. She would literally wander through the house and howl.

Rosie's brother Bilbo. Sadly we lost him about 6 months before losing Rosie.
