Spooky Season:  
Penny Seats Theatre’s "The Woman in Black" is a ghostly good time. We talked to executive director Lauren London about the British play, which was the 2nd-longest running nonmusical in London’s West End. The play runs through Oct. 18 @ Cahoots in Ann Arbor.

University of Michigan's production of the musical "Cabaret" focuses on the outsiders, exploring “the vibrant queer scene at the cabaret and how it is stripped away as the Nazis take over." We previewed this classic, which runs Oct. 2-5 and Oct. 9-12 in Ann Arbor.

Zach Bryan and John Mayer are headlining @umich.edu's first concert at Michigan Stadium on September 27. While the show is expected to have over 112,000 fans in attendance, it got us wondering about some of the other concerts at U-M’s second-biggest venue: Crisler Center.

"The Coolidge-Wagner Anthology of Recorded Poetry" continues documenting Michigan poets, and on Monday, September 22, there's a live poetry reading at the Downtown branch of @aadl.org showcasing four poets from the project: Owólabi Aboyade, Frances Kai-Hwa Wang, Bryan Thao Worra & Rebecca Biber.
