If anyone is running low on hope today. Two years ago I was planning on moving back to my home town. I’d just had an entire round of IVF fail. I moved back, my new job to my surprise had IVF insurance. Today I drove an hour to buy a toddler slide for my twins first birthday. Things can change fast.

I can’t even put into words how devastating this new EO will be for children and families. I don’t think most people really understand how freezing funding for federal programs will directly effect our most vulnerable citizens, including children

The very real, very immediate consequence of trump ending birth right citizenship is that babies will be stuck in the NICU unable to go home because they can’t get the home medical supplies they need without insurance. Without citizenship, they can’t get insurance. Source. I’m a NICU social worker.
