Speaking as someone who has Trails as their favourite game series of all time... yeah, it's weird when you really think about it. I started with the Cold Steel saga, then went back to Sky afterwards. There's a lot of stuff that seems weird at first, then has the context explained later.

I would like to add the Wildspace is a lot of fun and very easy to pick up. Minimal setup required to get a game going.

Exactly. Wholly generic and unremarkable. At Outbreak they’re up against Drug Church, so even without all this I was never seeing them anyway.
