We’ll spend an hour and a half on the grant today and then go and explore Hamburg we said at 10.30. It is now 8 pm and I want a pint.

This morning I head for my apparently annual trip to Hamburg to talk science, write grants and have a jolly good time. And the Bahn was only 10 mins delayed at the beginning! #trainelf

9.5 degrees for the dunk today. Feels amazing. Slightly annoyed all those people were right about this cold water stuff.
