Finally got the album on vinyl recently. 😁 (Had it on CD for ages.)

Love the cartoonie cover Winston did.
Album cover of the Dead Kennedys album Bedtime For Democracy. Original release on Alternative Tentacles record label. Artwork by Winston Smith. Shows the Statue of Liberty in the center with all sorts of crazy things going around and to it. Sort of the style of political cartoon art you would see in Mad Magazine. The picture shows the entire artwork because it is a gatefold album and the artwork wraps around both the front and the back of the album cover.

It is a bit of a mash of short stories in a Pulp Fiction sort of way. It is supposed to be Oakland, CA in 1987. It drips of nostalgia from the 80s, part Repo Man..
