I forgot to say the manga mentioned above was Full Moon wo Sagashite….😤….I still love Tanemura’s art and have not forgotten what that manga did for me (I was like 10 or so and JUST SO MOVED LOL!!!)

Just writing these posts had me feeling like oh man. I used to be so optimistic hahahahahaha

ALSO: that was just the beginning…when I discovered webcomic sites it was like, omg! People just get on there and DO comics?! I realized there was no barrier between me and being a “comic artist”. All skill levels can do it. I figured if I started now I could be good some day. Thus GK was born 🥹

Became moved by the idea….read more manga/comics and I was SO in awe that storytelling could make me feel anything. Happy, sad, intrigued, etc. And all such diff ways to do abt it, every artist in their own way. Started trying to draw stories that compelled me/appealed to me since then
