I have not had this issue at all. It wouldn't be more that it evaporates, over time latex will absorb lube as it is.

I've tried just dimethicone alone originally and the lack of lubricity was not ideal for heavy play...RIP my favorite suit.

Not a fan of the texture when I tried this. Cylcomethicone adds to the slickness of the lube and takes the "bite" away from Dimethicone. But again, its all personal preference.

If you are planning on making lube for resale purposes, I'd highly look into the legalities.
