of output would need to be measured against objective tasks to determine if even when results could be/are manipulated through external directives or false info in its training data, whether it produces the correct answers or not. Super interesting stuff! (5/3)

Just re-read its output and it does specify that "if the task required that reliability" (assuming it needed that absolute degree of reliability, e.g. mathematics). I think the problem also lies in the nature of the tasks, typically being inferential which is inherently subjective. Reliability (4/3)

by using a human's subjective perspective of what "failure" is and responding against that framework specifically, which would make it useless. If we used the very literal definition, as Gemini use is situational and context dependent, it could be simultaneously deemed useless & suboptimal. (3/3)

its utility but not eliminating it. I'd argue that "useless" in a literal sense indicates absolute failure of a tool for its intended purpose rather than partial or inconsistent failure. For me, this isn't Gemini admitting lack of fundamental utility, rather acknowledging inconsistencies (2/3)

Interesting that in its last response, it effectively specified that if your framework is absolute and independent, only then is your claim correct but I do think the absolutism that generated the response. Translate it to a controller with stick drift, it can't reliably be used, diminishing (1/3)

Oh dear. I'd better go make my bed too.
