Wait did you upgrade your PC from Win8 or something? Secure Boot + TPM 2.0 has been the standard for a decade now, i am a bit surprised when people DON'T have this on

BUT - the worst is now over, I'm stable, and finally on holiday for the first time in about 8 years! In the lovely isle of Guernsey for the gorgeous food, with small smatters of non-food thrown in (I have managed to burn in the sun)

That, obviously taking a massive toll on our family's health and resources - a really bad time overall, no two ways around it. Combined with the stress of potentially losing my job through no fault of my own, there's just....not been enough to go around

It's not quite a home yet. It's my granddad's last gift to me, and it's going to take a while to feel comfortable. But it's a fucking hell of a gift, and I'm going to put in the work.
