Wondering what legal ways of sabotaging these are. Smashing them or just tipping them over, satisfying though it would be, is probably criminal damage or something. But not clear putting down traffic cones in front and behind is something you could get in trouble for?

I think a more conventionally competent politician would realise the damage the tariffs do economically, and decide they didn't want to actively damage the economy, in particular in a way that will increase grocery prices, for something that is so apparently unpopular.
