Plus the owners - again they have invested a lot of money in the team, but it’s more than that - known brands for sponsorship (not a.n.other betting co), stadium, coaching, spotlight on the town, the women’s team. The town has lived and died on the success of its team - now the town is alive again.

Phil Parkinson has had some flak but he’s got all of the key decisions correct. My hopes were top 10 at the start as some players came up from the NL, and yes - he’s spent money, but to do what he’s done is unprecedented. Others have tried and failed.
