A team of Purdue researchers in Indiana is laying the groundwork for the first highway segment in the U.S. capable of wirelessly charging an electric heavy-duty truck while it is driving. This experimental segment is testing a patent-pending wireless charging system developed by #Purdue engineers.

#Purdue Civil and Construction Engineering senior Quentin Lovejoy says he always knew he wanted to pursue a career in transportation engineering. A dream of his is to work on a railway expansion project to improve the rail system in the U.S.
