Saw this stunner (restored by a genius named Davey O Connor) and was moved. A MK1 Granada coupe was the car that made me a lifelong petrolhead at 13 when I saw my school caretakers lovely blue one. If I had the space I'd love one.

My family was hiking in Tahquitz canyon and this rattlesnake let us know to keep clear of him ! My animal savvy kids were excited, not scared and made us a safe path around :)

Not as posh, but this is a Santa pie - a full Christmas dinner in a huge pie , with antlers - served during December at Mad O'Rourkes Pie Factory up the road from me. I adore one with a couple of pints of lumphammer bitter for lunch, followed by a nap :)

After the drama of our donkey and horse shelters bring blown away on Friday, I can report we have borrowed a vacant paddock with a shelter on , so the donks and horses are safe and comfy. Farmer is bringing his tractor with the correct attachment to re-site the shelters on Tuesday.

Also, down the farm we keep the Donkeys hay in a small stable. Sat on the bales while rain taps the tin roof is bloody lovely.

Had the bright idea of mowing the fallen leaves off the back lawn. There's trees everywhere, plus a big old magnolia in the middle. "It'll chew em up and compact them" I thought.
Didn't account for a fortnight's dog shit hidden under them. I can see how bran flakes were invented now. Smelly ones.
