Secure DNS is usually via HTTPS, not just an IP. Needs a protocol it's supposed to use as well.

Yeah I used waterfox and a flavour of Google free chromium, and neither really felt "right". Vivaldi has worked well in the two years I've been using it and feels nice to use.

I love the search engine, not sold on the browser either.

I've been enjoying Vivaldi a lot, it's mainly ex-opera guys developing it. They try to be as Google-free as they can, if that's a point of concern for you. It's also super customizable and has a built in ad-blocker that works well enough.
