Also seeing reports that the distance was more like 150 yards...so even easier. Like many places in the northern states, hunting is common. It's a holiday in many schools/jobs...so it's not going to be hard to find someone who can shoot the very common rifle found/likely used.

Army qualifies at 300 yards with an M4 and iron sites, typically. This is a high powered rifle likely scoped. 200 yards is perhaps a challenge to someone who had done as little as zeroed that weapon once before. It is nothing to anyone who has been to the range with it a couple few times.

I'm not saying Joe schmoe off the street could make the shot but it was 200 yards with a high powered rifle...a guy that has gone to the range a couple times could have pulled it off

I've never felt so embarrassed to be in the Army. Russia is a known fucking enemy. Now we let them in the white house? Stand down cyber operations? While they attack us every single fucking day? We should be ready to erase them, not blowing them in the dumpster behind the Wendy's.
