Seems like today, with this shooting, no one is saying we need gun control, or something really should be done-not from the left or the right.
Just, " violence is bad, thoughts and prayers" and it suggests to me that this is a phrase that gently means, "your death will not mean anything"

It seems that if you want to protect old trees from being dug up for development, it's best to plant many dead people around them. Wherever I've seen large fields of dead people, nobody chops the old trees down.

So what I'm learning is that the dems "could have" just executive ordered a whole bunch of stuff but didn't?
Because either this much power existed in the last presidency or it doesn't now. But it sure looks like it does now.
