The consolidation continues...there just isn't enough money to go around for traditional video gaming. Unless the industry can make the development cheaper or find an audience willing to pay more or find a different business model...then this will continue.

The game industry is under a ton of stress right now...I wish all of the devs, who are turning to kickstarter, a ton of success. Unfortunately, my gut tells me many of these companies will realize that's not light at the end of the tunnel, but more or less a flashlight left from a prior dev...

All I take away from the noise around World is that the demand for the game is very high.

I dunno, I think the community building features (trading virtual games, multiple people playing the same game at same time, and the overall idea of connecting with people outside your main circle)....kind of a big leap for them and gaming...but to each their own.....

For the last month I have done very little but think about, talk about, and play Blue Prince. It's sort of like a cross between Slay the Spire and Outer Wilds — you progress by gaining knowledge — but it's also much more than that.
