Well then. Finally happened. 33 years of using pocket knives all the time and I finally made a bad motion and sliced my middle finger open. More than a papercut but not terribly deep. Maybe less than a Mm honestly.

My cat is sick and I don't know that hes going to make it.
The vet said he was perfectly fine only a few weeks ago. Brought him inside and he was doing so well. Now we just hope he makes it back to the vet tomorrow. 😥

Cleared the master bathroom out, and the closet out entirely. Also removed her bed from the master room. Still not in a state we can bring ours in, but I am a-ok waiting on that til the room is tody, our else it will just stress me out.

You know, one thing that I find interesting right now is that since she has died, my sense of time has stretched out vastly.
I've been awake since 9:52am but lt feels like 5-6 hours.
It feels like its been a year since she died. Everything has just... slowed considerably. Its nice.

If you ever encounter a singular explanation for the ongoing success of D&D, it's worth treating with skepticism. If you name a thing that D&D does well, you can usually find several games that do it better. Size & recognition matter, of course, but the brand's been through rough times.

Funerql homes are so fucking predatory. After going on and on about how they will honor the prepurchased policy, they are "suddenlyt hinking" that it might have only been one policy for both her and her husband, to whomever used it first.

I finally found the funeral policy, prepurchased 4 decades ago.
She paid $4,032.86 for this back in 1986 and due to that, we don't have to pay any more except for like... flowers and whatnot.
