Ehhh, yes, but much like the Federal "Park Police" that patrol the National Mall with big guns and such, DNR patrol Fort Snelling Park, and other parks near pipelines and areas where poaching is known take place, also assisting on Tribal Lands. As such, they're actually trained up pretty hard core.
