If only we had some kind of person whose job it was to investigate the news and present a balanced set of challenging facts. We could call them something like “journalists”. The whole craft could be called a cool name like “journalism”.

Preen were supporting Willie J Healey a few weeks ago. Never heard of them before but was immediately enchanted by their tight harmonies and wistful melodies. Absolutely gorgeous stuff. A bit Beatles or Elliot Smith-sy.

Depeche Mode are incredible live. One of the bands I book up as soon as they tour.

Just skimmed through this and couldn't see Albert Finney, Scrooge. I sing Thank You Very Much and I Like Life on a regular basis and I actually own one of the creepy Victorian dolls in the toy shop (Nan acquired it at an auction). Safe to say this is a firm family favourite.

Absolutely fantastic! The series was amazing and I have been recommending it far and wide. This information must get out there. Thank you so much for persevering and for shining a light on some very dark places.

Also: where’s the fecking investigation, Keir Starmer?

The Welsh parliament, Nigel Farage, @prifweinidog.gov.wales @eddavey.libdems.org.uk & @zackpolanski.bsky.social are all now in agreement that we need a govt-led inquiry into Russian interference. So what on earth is the problem??

So well deserved. Thank God there are people willing to stick their neck out to get the truth out there. CC is absolutely one of my heroes.

I thought Ed Davey did a good job by saying there's no way Farage would investigate Russian interference in Reform and so Starmer should. Quite right! Hope he keeps coming back to that. In the meantime, I highly recommend this podcast series: the-citizens.com/2025/02/serg...

I'm going to do my bit to ensure he doesn't get in (I'm currently volunteering/posting flyers for the strongest opposition in my constituency) before we reach that point.

If he does actually become PM, I'll be desperate to leave but trapped by bloody Brexit.
