This is not unusual - when governments “get rid” of no grounds evictions, they do nothing to prevent landlords simply lying 🤷‍♂️ in Victoria there’s a prohibition on these properties being rented out for 6 months but it’s not enforced 😍😍

In in this Port Phillip council meeting and a council representative (not a councillor) was just asked if they had engaged with anyone currently experiencing homelessness about their homelessness plan and they said they didn’t know 🙃
