There was a year where I woke up to the same chill acoustic album for my daily alarm. And in my running era I played the same techno album for every run. Tracks 1 and 2 got plenty of play for both.

Yess to all of this! Songs played by vibe. Sometimes this sends you to odd places like old Irish folk song followed by WAP followed by Mozart piano concertos. I don’t make the rules.

Adhd vibes is one song/album hyper fixation until replaced. Replacement may happen in the same day/week/year. Sometimes you obsessively listen to Song-of-Interest for 3 months then you switch and listen to no songs for the rest of the year.

Where’s “Murder She Wrote” when actors need them to maintain benefits! But also you have an excellent voice and producers should be so lucky.

Yeah, sorry to derail w my own navel gazing. I have noticed something similar in other things and it’s not bad just feels to me like one thread out of weft in a weave if that makes sense.

The cognitive dissonance of a show that goes so hard getting so many details right for that time and skips a whole subset of a topic is jarring. It feels weird because it’s applying a Pollyanna effect to one aspect of history while remaining gritty with others. Drugs, sex, and rock and roll.
