I finally played the remake and it was a enjoyable experience, barring a few frustrations but I can chalk that up to old school game design that was lovingly recreated for the modern era.

This time it's:
*METROID: SAMUS RETURNS*
For the 3DS.
This was a really good remake for a Gameboy game and the mechanics introduced in the game were awesome like parrying which ended up being in Metroid Dread (Which I should also complete down the road)

I'm very close to the end of Dragon Quest 8 3DS edition. I beaten the main story and conquered the Dragovian Trials. Switch 2 has been announced and I'm so excited. I hope my Switch collection can be played over on the Switch 2.

Hard to believe the final issue of the Team Fortress 2 comic dropped and had a satisfying ending as well. I can say I am at peace with my many hours spent in that game and I can finally move on from it. It had to end eventually.

So, funny enough I started on a platformer metroidvania I have been putting off for a long time. A game I had interest in since I first saw it on the N64 and had a remaster recently for most systems. And that game is...Shadow Man. Im gonna see if I can fully complete this game as well.

Crash 1 was definitely a game of patience. It was not meant to be rushed but to plan your next move very carefully. The level design for Naughty Dog's first run with the bandicoot was solid, though frustrating. I'm looking at you The Lab
