I torched my Twitter account a while back, and avoided all social media. I got the itch again and decided to check out Bluesky.

I'm surprised by the old-time Twitter vibe. And admittedly I'm glad to see a lot of familiar names. I've been following lots of folks today.

I have high hopes.

Alexa can now connect to my car, enabling me to remote start it by voice.

What it can't do is tell me that my son dropped the car off at the shop for an oil change and that I just scared the shit out of some poor oil tech.

Sigh.. I guess this means Kid Rock gets the NEA.

I play Yacht Rock radio on SiriusXM for the dog when I leave the house so she's not lonely. She's a lot less stressed, but now she only responds to the name Deacon Blues.
