So here's the thing, I am not an Achievement Hunter per sé. But I am happy I got a 100% for both @ballxpit.com and @powerwashsimulator.co.uk #2 on Steam this year. Of course, like Vampire Survivors there will be new content that will affect the 100% rating in the future, but for now. I am content.

My chapter is ready!

Oooff. Seeing people sharing pictures of a new Mortal Kombat art book by Insight Editions and it. is. bad. They used a terrible "AI" upscaler and it makes all the fighters look like they're melting where they stand. Extremely disappointing. Not TOASTY at all. Who the hell signed off on this?

I am not an achievement hunter, and I don't have one bone in my body that can get addicted to something. I just really like #BallxPit. Fun runs of max 15 minutes, and trying to find out new strategies and combinations. Thanks @kennysun.com And Friends!

Finished my first(!) run of #Rosewater by @grundislavgames.bsky.social and @jesshaskins.bsky.social.

If 80s/90s point & click adventure games are your jam, this is a must-play.

The rotoscoping looks good, the voice cast is incredible, the randomized encounters, and multiple solutions add a lot. ❤️

Two Point Museum is out in Advanced Access if you got the Explorer's Edition, and so far it's been a lot of fun.

Heh, just watched @commandersterling.bsky.social 's newest Jimquisition and it was a delight seeing the love for Sengoku Basara.

I never picked up Devil Kings after having rented it once, because it was really bad. But SB: Samurai Heroes is a favorite of mine since launch.

Capcom, we need more!

The game isn't a very realistic depiction of the Sengoku period, the Warring States, in feudal Japan, clearly. :P

2025 is off to a great start for me, music wise. Franz Ferdinand dropped a new album today, and I like it. Bar Lonely and Black Eyelashes are my favorite.

But, I want to talk about Lambrini Girls today. This is their debut album after an EP back in 2023, and they're punk AF. 1/2

Paperback release of John Scalzi's book Starter Villain. Featuring a man in a white outline and black suit sitting on an opulent and sci-fi chair. The chair is also outlined in white and has a curvature in the back seat, which clearly lacks any head support because of it, ending in two points on Both sides. It clearly denotes it's a chair for an evil villain this way. Behind the chair is a mountain, and it is also surrounded by what looks like a whirlpool of red and blue lines, indicating a portal of sorts. The man is also holding a cat, by the way. Like that one James Bond villain. The book has blurbs on the front: 'Satire Aplenty' - Financial Times, and 'Laugh-out-loud funny' - SFX, five star review. In white, underneath the depiction of the man in the sci-fi chair, is the title in white. Starter Villain, followed by 'Anti-hero in training. Underneath that is John Scalzi's name in red. Blofeld, that was the Bond villain’s name. Just remembered.

I can't get over how excited I am for a brand new #Okami sequel from one of the my most favorite gamedesigners/directors. The wonderful (101, sorry, had to 😜) Hideki Kamiya!

He always wanted to do a sequel, and he finally got his chance!

A letter from Hideki Kamiya, translated from Japanese, about his return to the world of Okami. It was shared by Capom on the hellsite. To all of you, "Until next time..." How long has it been since the story was concluded with that? I didn't think the day would really come, where I'd return to Okami and continue the story with my own hands. Even at this very moment, my body is filled with both a cautious surprise that this is not a dream, and a joy that cannot be described in words. Everyone who has worked so hard to make this project a reality, the friends who believed in me and gathered at CLOVERS Inc., and most importantly, the voices of so many of you who have continued to support Okami even after such a long time: all of this has come together to create this miracle for which I am deeply grateful. Like a strong rising sun, this project is finally in motion. But it's still a small bud that is blossoming. Today I died because I made some bad placements, and I wasn't fast enough in placing a piton. The first drop wasn't that high (see the red skull in the middle), but the main character rolled for a bit and ultimately dropped in a small crevasse-like area on the side of mountain.

Much higher drop! 💀

I wasn't planning on making a post this fast after the thread I just did. I just have to talk about it now.

A demo dropped for the game #Cairn yesterday, it's an atmospheric climbing game, like Jusant (which I loved), but damn, this one can be very intense.

The tutorial alone made my palms sweaty.

Because of the horrible things coming in 2025 in the US, and I worry for friends there, I would suggest to everyone to make this their go-to album for letting loose.

Just finished Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes and it was a delight. I started the game the day it came out, but I tend to move away from them for a bit, so it takes me longer to finish them.

But what a lovely game. Not perfect, but definitely hitting the Suikoden vibes (one of my fav series).
