If 34% of Democrats aren’t already extremely motivated, what the hell is it going to take?

The only thing I can’t figure out is how Trump’s name didn’t immediately burn itself off the frame like in Raiders of the Lost Ark.

Can someone help me understand why the house vote is so important? It would still need to pass the senate (unlikely) and then Trump would need to sign it into law (never gonna happen). Don’t get me wrong, I’m glad it’s getting a vote, but it seems like a moral victory.

You chose corporate donors and Fox News appearances over country, and the sick kids who will struggle to get the healthcare they need. You’re a real hero.

If they aren’t calling for a leadership change, then I take their “no” votes as performative. We already know there were others who quietly backed the deal and are feigning outrage.

You’re disgraceful, cowardly, ad a piss poor politician. Glad you made your airline donors happy.

But voting for people you know will surrender is also surrender. And voting for a small 3rd party only helps Republicans. I don’t know what to do other than hope a swath of Democrats willing to fight breaks away to form something new. But I’m starting to dig a tunnel to Canada just in case.

My first reaction was to call for a change in leadership, but it feels like rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic. We’re watching the death of a party. I only hope those willing to fight will crawl out of the dying husk to form a party that will actually fight before democracy falls.
