In case anyone wants to give Trump credit for not removing pictures of other presidents, here's the picture of Biden hanging behind Trump in these photos.

If you need a refresher on how much of a POS Peters is, here's a good overview.

Tina Peters, former Mesa County clerk, sentenced to 9 years in prison over voting systems breach | Colorado Newsline
Judge Matthew Barrett cited Peters’ lack of remorse, and the fact she has “remained quite defiant” during his remarks before announcing the sentence.

Let's not forget that trump announced in September that he is moving a Space Force base from Colorado to Alabama because the governor would not release a convicted felon.

Saying to making do with less didn't go so well for Carter. Let's hope that still works as well as it did before.

I think we've already voted in the party that's determined how to sway the margin by "legal" means like unprecedented gerrymandering, nixing voting stations in minority areas, intimidation at the ballot box, selective precinct audits, etc. Dems need an ever increasing buffer margin to offset this.

The high school reference was tongue in cheek, but I now realize most professors who never finished high school were probably prodigies who got to skip from grade school to college. Of course, I still suspect many professors at Trump "University" never finished highschool and def weren't prodigies.

This is like deliberately reading books with terrible reviews. Or applying only to universities with the worst reputation, regardless of cost ("None of your professors finished highschool? Perfect!").

Then again, I think that describes Trump's base.

This is further proof that wealth and intelligence are at best minimally correlated. Wealth and corruption, however, have a strong relationship.

If you watch the final minutes of this interview, it's clear he thinks hasset is a terrible pick. What's interesting is that wolfers endorsed hasset for Trump's counsel of economic advisors in 2017.

To be fair, Hegseth doesn't have any experience leading a large organization. And he's a rapist, drunk, adulterer, and apparently a murderer. Why would we expect better of him?

This sadly plays right into Trump's hands. At a minimum he'll say this proves that deployment of the military is needed to deal with out-of-control crime in liberal cities. He'll also likely use this to check off one of the boxes for declaring martial law so he can make this a proper dictatorship.

I meant to say "the smaller the responsibility you believe you have" (at a subconscious leve).

You've pretty much described the Milgram experiment and its derivatives. The smaller a cog in the machine that you are, the less responsibility you have.

I have been eligible for the ACA at times. I had a check in the mail and bought the insurance I thought worked best for me and my family (among eligible choices). I could either get a subsidized monthly rate, or receive a big check as part of my IRS tax refund (I did the latter).

What if the construction and completion of Trump's ballroom is so delayed that it goes beyond the end of his presidency? Is the next president obligated to finish it as planned? Will the funds still be there or will tax payer dollars have to fund it? Can it be turned into a museum of tyranny?
