Made a monkey multiplier machine using my Thunder Bolt laser and a pattern I bought online and then tweaked. Hoping this will help my daughter teach times tables to her kiddos. The kids move the feet to different integers and the monkey points to the answer.

In the process of setting up a STEAM lab & building the program. Found an old TV & can now live stream the laser so students can watch it from the hallway. Plan to do the same with the 3D printer next week. BTW a laser should NEVER run unattended; the stream just makes it easier for them to see.

As a maker/STEM teacher/everything else that comes my way, I think it's important to work with traditional tools and techniques and not just digital fab equipment. Old school outdoor patio table with four nesting side tables for my daughter. No laser or CNC. Just saw and sweat.

Got a little something in the mail today. Feels SO good to have tools and support in my new job.
