Unfair to call someone a Nazi just because they spread conspiracy theories about how Jews are inbred & aren’t really Jews, all attacks on Jewish religious buildings are either deserved or false flags, and that all Jews are infected with Zionism and to steal their gold.

The vowels are different in Yiddish. Schmuck as in jewelery and putz as in polishing are also used in Yiddish, but it's 'u' as in 'put', not 'u' as in 'puck'.

Purely a guess from a genealogical angle, I have no historical knowledge here (except that in former Galicia, vital records were clearly in Nazi hands who annotated them during the Holocaust)

I expect that in Poland they would have relied on books of residency, which were (in theory) kept up to date more reliably

Germany, Hungary, and France already had desegregated records (but at least for the first two - less familiar with France - there was a note of religious affiliation, with a cross-referenced paper trail) while Austria and Poland still had denominational segregation
