ONCE AGAIN i would like to note how rex, for all his optimism, kinda just starts assuming the worst whenever it comes to pyra's well-being and indeed he always gets noticeably agitated if he is not certain she is both nearby and Safe. it's cute. it's possibly a bit of a trauma issue. it's still cute
