It's more of an enemy variation thing. There are versions of the pythons that are out of the shell and perform more advanced attacks.

Each class has a different set of skills they can learn and up to 6 pieces of armor they can equip. (Btw this pic of the armor prices and availability are just an example, they aren't final)

In Pythonmancer there are 6 classes for players and enemies to primarily use. Soldier, Magician, Archer, Guardian, Shield Mage, and Spell Thief. You can choose up to 4 characters to place on your team. #gamedev #indiedev #rpg #indiegame
