Code nerd, roleplayer, engineer, writer, autistic, crazy cat lady, socially awkward, introvert. I love space, video games, TTRPGs, game development, reading cozy mysteries and writing in play by post settings.
So... I'm here, and my Twitter account is cleaned up and gone for good.

Don't get me wrong, I'm a fan of AI as a tool but that whole shit show... there needs to be ethical guard rails in any AI development, and part of that is the ethics of content creation and not lying to people.

Good riddance.

I'm not a huge one for social media. I find it so hard to keep up with the constant posts, but the attitudes and policies being implemented recently on other platforms makes me shudder.

If the way someone else lives their best life doesn't affect you, why do you care so much? Let them be happy!

I've done programming for (and hated) visual novels. I want to make an actual game but none of these tutorial hell courses really appeal to me. And every time I open an engine, I feel overwhelmed. Anyone able to give me ideas on where I should start with actual game dev as a noob?

I wonder how difficult it would be to institute a system where you pay say.. $5 for the first three hours of playing a video game then after two hours, you pay the full price of the game or it deactivates. I know you can refund a game on Steam after two hours but this way the devs see something.
