We are also requesting an in-person meeting with you to discuss the experiences and needs of your 2SLGBTQI+ constituents in particular. Would you be available some time in the next two weeks? Please advise so we can schedule a meeting.

We are concerned about the pattern emerging in your voting record and wish to remind you that your job is to represent all of your constituents. That was your oath and we expect you to keep it. Going forward, we ask you to vote to strengthen and affirm the human rights of your constituents.

We were similarly dismayed by your abstention on Motion 38, which asked the House to condemn the intolerant views of the Association for Reformed Political Action (ARPA), a religious lobby group that explicitly seeks to restrict abortion access and 2SLGBTQI+ rights.

This is the latest in a series of recent votes and abstentions by you that are in conflict with 2SLGBTQI+ visibility and rights.
