Always loved the SD-103 model. Felt it was one of the more "realistic" looking shuttle designs.

Afaik they got a new lighting director from Season 3 onwards which negated this. I forget where I read this, perhaps one of the behind the scenes books.

This was really common in the early seasons! The bridge LCARS panels had black cardboard on constantly to stop light reflection. Example here: www.ex-astris-scientia.org/observations...

Technically the bottom right is the Phase 2 Enterprise, whereas the rest are the TMP Enterprise!
